Philip Joseph Miccio, Jr.

Philip Joseph Miccio, Jr., 54, of Stillwater, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August, 2nd, 2015 at his home. Born in Bristol, Pennsylvania on March 8th, 1961. He was a graduate of Benton High School, Class of 1979 and Luzerne County Community College, Class of 1981, for Culinary Arts. He worked at CSIU as a Transportation Supervisor. He was a member of Lightstreet United Methodist Church, the Masonic Washington Lodge #265, and the Bloomsburg Caldwell Consistory. He enjoyed spending time with his family, vacationing at the beach, cooking and attending flea markets. He was a wrestler, coach, mentor and avid supporter of wrestling and a multiple time champion and place winner of the Pennsylvania State Archery Association. Most recently co-owned Phil's Ribeye Steaks with his Dad where he enjoyed weekends at festivals and was the Family Events Concession Director at the 4-Wheel Jamboree. Previously had concession stands, Phil's Cajun Kitchen, at the Bloomsburg Fair. Philip will be greatly missed by those he loved and those who continue to love him. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 34 years this September, Christine (Witchey) Miccio; daughter, Ashley Miccio; son, Bradley Miccio. He is also survived by his parents, Philip and Barbara Miccio, Bloomsburg; brother, Michael Miccio and fiancé, Michelle; sister, Kimberly (Miccio) Barrett and husband, David, and children, Kaitlin and the late, Carissa; Brother, Christopher Miccio and wife, Linda, child, Danielle, and her mother, Karen Miccio; sister, Marisa (Miccio) Conrad and husband, David, children Katrina, Brandon and Cheyenne; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Edith Witchey, Bloomsburg; brother-in-law, Kevin Witchey and wife, Lee, and children, Carrie, Dan, Nick and Jace; brother-in-law: Kent Witchey and wife, Teri, and children, Hope, Brittany and Christopher Hireniesien; brother-in-law, Kurt Witchey and fiancé, Jackie Gregor, and children, Nick Allen and Kyle Witchey. Services will be held Thursday, August 6th, 2015 at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487) with Rev. Steven Portner, pastor of the Bethany United Methodist Church, officiating. A Viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, August 5th from 6 to 8 PM and also on Thursday morning, August 6th from 10 AM until the time of service at McMichael's. Masonic services will begin on Wednesday evening at 6 PM.
