Lois E. (Goss) Zultevicz

Lois E. (Goss) Zultevicz, 80, of S. R. 239, Stillwater, (Huntington Township) died Friday, January 1, 2016 at the Berwick Retirement Village II. Born March 25, 1935 in Plymouth, Luzerne County, she was a daughter of the late Willard J. Goss, Sr. and Ruth C. (Harrison) Goss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard M. Zultevicz, on May 21, 2013. A 1953 graduate of the former Huntington Mills High School, Mrs. Zultevicz had been employed as a seamstress by several local dress factories including the former Dockey Shirt Factory and Dol Ang Manufacturing in Benton. She retired in 1980 along with her best friend, Ellie Moss. She was a member of St. Martha's Roman Catholic Church of Fairmount Springs. She was also a member of the Shickshinny American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 495. She served as a volunteer for various charities including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the American Cancer Society and had also been involved with the Girl Scouts years ago. Surviving, are her three daughters: Mary Heidi Zultevicz and Destinie Jo Zultevicz, both at home; Tammy Faux Kashner and her husband, Clair, of Danville; two granddaughters: Sasha Gregory Roble, of Enola and Katie Gregory Lynn of Shickshinny; two great grandchildren; Nolan and Laela. She is also survived by a brother, Ronald K. Goss, Sr., of Nanticoke and two sister-in-laws: Jean Miller of Shickshinny and Carol Goss of Berwick. Along with her husband, Leonard, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard Jr., Sam, and Richard and by five sisters: Bernadyne, Marian, Laura Jean, Ethel May and Edythe Ann and three nieces: Mary Alice, Rosalie and Ruthie and by a sister-in-law, Dorothy; four brother-in-laws: Elmer, Ralph, Harry and Lou. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (S. R. 487). A Viewing will be held Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 11 at McMichael's. Burial will be in St. Martha's Cemetery.
