Gertrude M. "Trudy" Zebraski

Gertrude M. "Trudy" (Danhart) Zebraski, 83, of Peterman Road, Benton and Jupiter Florida, died Sunday night, September 23, 2012 at the Hospice of Palm Beach County in patient unit of the Jupiter Pavillion, Jupiter, Florida where she had been admitted. Born December 27, 1928 in Ridley Park, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert English Danhart and Lucille (Shirey) Bendler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Zebraski, of 52 years, on March 26, 2010. Mrs. Zebraski had earned her Master's Degree and found great joy in teaching math classes in Norristown School District, located in Montgomery County PA for many years. She started going to college to become a teacher after she was 40 years old and had been working on her PHD. She worked as a bookkeeper in Conshohocken, PA. She was also a member of the Montgomery County Democratic Committee and had run for State Representative . She was a member of the Christian Gospel Fellowship Church in Iola. She enjoyed being a mother, homemaker, lover of music and theater. She also enjoyed reading, fishing and bowling. She raised her grandson, Joseph, and took care of her mother and grandparents. Surviving, are her 5 children: Karolyn Benozich and her husband, John, with whom she resided with in Jupiter, Florida for the past two years; Patricia Zebraski of Margate, Florida; Paul A. Zebraski and his wife Sunkyung, of South Korea; Donald S. Zebraski, of Miramar, Florida; David Zebraski and his wife, Dawn, of Birdsboro, PA; 2 step children: Joann Holton of Fairton, NJ and Thomas S. Zebraski, of Bridgeton, NJ; Also a step daughter-in-law, Brenda Zebraski, of Cedarville, NJ; 12 grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a step son, Joseph T. Zebraski and James Zebraski her step grandson. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 11A.M. at the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (Rt. 487) with Pastor Paul Converse, Sr., officiating. A viewing will be held Saturday from 10 A. M. until the time of the service at McMichael's. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach FL 33409.
